Spare Parts Help

Need a replacement part matched to your juicer or cold press? MiniPress helps check compatibility for household units before you order, with support from our Paarden Eiland base and delivery across South Africa.

Parts matched to the machine you already own

Spare parts help is about getting the right fit first time, not guessing. We help identify compatible household replacement parts for slow masticating juicers, centrifugal juicers and cold presses used in kitchens around Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria and George. That includes parts that deal with everyday wear from pulp, moisture and repeated assembly and washing.

Typical items include feed chute components, augers, strainers or screens, juice bowls, pulp outlets, lids, seals, gaskets, locking clips, pusher pieces, cleaning brushes and power lead or plug checks where suitable. For some machines, the part can look close enough but still not seal properly or line up with the drive housing. That is where a careful check matters.

What we look at before a part is confirmed

To reduce the chance of a return, we check the details that affect fit and safe use. A household juicer can be off by a few millimetres and still fail at the connection point, especially on screens, seals and drive couplings. We also look at whether the part is for a feed tube style unit, a wider chute model, a single auger press or a twin-gear style cold press.

  • Model details and visible markings on the machine
  • Part shape, diameter, thread type and locking point
  • Direction of spin where relevant
  • Seal thickness, groove depth and mounting position
  • Material type such as plastic, silicone, stainless steel or mesh screen
  • Photos of the damaged or worn part from more than one angle

If a machine has been used with hard water, coastal humidity or regular washing in warm kitchens, we also check for swelling, corrosion, cracks and stiff seals that may affect fit.

How the spare parts check works

Our process is practical and kept as clear as possible. You send the machine details and the part request through the enquiry form on our contact page. From there, our team checks the information, compares the visible features and confirms whether the part is a good match before any order is placed.

  1. Send the machine details and clear photos
  2. We review the part type, size and fitting points
  3. We confirm compatibility or flag the differences
  4. If needed, we suggest a safer replacement path
  5. Once confirmed, the part is prepared for dispatch or collection if arranged

Cleaning wear, seals and safety checks that matter

Some parts are not only about performance, they are about food contact and safe handling too. Cracked seals, damaged strainers, loose locking clips and split pulp outlets can trap residue or allow liquid to leak into areas that are harder to clean. If a screen is bent or the mesh is torn, the machine may also leave fibre where it should not.

We give generic guidance on cleaning and food safety for replacement parts. That means checking that food contact parts are intact, smooth where they should be, and free from odours, deep staining or visible damage. For cold press parts, proper washing and drying also helps prevent mould in grooves and around gaskets. In humid coastal areas like Cape Town and George, that matters even more.

  • Look for split seals or flattened gaskets
  • Check mesh screens for tears or stretching
  • Inspect juice bowls and lids for hairline cracks
  • Confirm clips and catches still hold firmly
  • Dry all food contact parts fully before storage

Turnaround, delivery and the pace of the order

Turnaround depends on what has to be checked and whether the part is already identified. A common seal, brush or screen may be sorted quickly once the machine details are clear. Less common parts can take longer because the fit must be checked properly before anything leaves our Paarden Eiland base.

For deliveries, we arrange shipment across South Africa, including Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, George, Stellenbosch and Somerset West. Delivery timing depends on the destination and courier movement. If a part is needed urgently, tell us what machine you have and what has failed so we can check the quickest suitable option.

We do not rush a fit check just to send something out. A part that is almost right can waste time and cause leaks, vibration or damage to the housing.

Pricing that depends on the part, not a guess

Pricing is based on the part type, material, compatibility work and whether the item is a common replacement or a more specific piece. A brush set, seal or screen is not priced the same way as a housing section or a specialised drive component. We explain the cost approach once the part is identified, so you know what is being supplied and why.

There is no blanket price for every machine, because household juicers and cold presses vary a lot in size and construction. Some units use simple press cups and clips, while others rely on precision screens, twin augers or shaped couplers. The more exact the fit, the more important the confirmation step becomes.

Our goal is to prevent the wrong part from being bought and shipped across the country only to be sent back again.

Aftercare once the part is fitted

After the replacement part is in place, we can help with basic follow-up questions such as fitting checks, leak troubleshooting, noise or vibration concerns linked to the part, and whether the seal sits evenly in the groove. If a part still feels tight or loose after installation, send clear photos through the enquiry form so we can review the setup.

We can also advise on routine care for the new part, including washing, drying and storage so it stays in better condition for longer. For example, seals should not be left clamped under pressure for long periods, and screens should not be scrubbed with harsh tools that can bend or damage the mesh.

  • Check the part sits flush and locks correctly
  • Run a short test before regular use
  • Watch for drips around joins and spouts
  • Store food contact parts clean and fully dry
  • Ask for follow-up support if the fit feels off
